FOLK THROUGHOUT CONTINENTS!
| Each year the number of our guests, who share our passion for art inspired by folk and folklore, grows bigger and bigger.
This year we will be able to enjoy the performances of artist from up to 12 countries! So far the participation of
representatives from the following countries has been confirmed: Ukraine, Belarus, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Georgia, the Palestinian Authority, Russia, Czech Republic, Latvia, Nepal, and of course the various regions of Poland.
We're still waiting on confirmation of teams from Bosnia, Belgium and Kenya. Our journey across the continents will start soon! |
THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF LODZ, MRS HANNA ZDANOWSKA TOOK THE HONORARY PATRONAGE OF THE FESTIVAL FOLKOWE INSPIRACJE
THE PREPARATIONS FOR THE THIRD EDITION OF THE FESTIVAL FOLKOWE INSPIRACJE HAVE JUST STARTED!!
This year will be very colorful and intercontinental. For fans of folk and ento there will be many attractions rooted in the cultures of European,
Asian and African countries. We will meet, among others, with young people from Ukraine, Georgia and Belarus, and of course from the whole Poland. This festival will provide us with many artistic and educational attractions, media and film screenings, exhibitions, cultural presentations of regions and nations from around the world, accompanied by vocal and instrumental concerts and dance performances on the festival stages. Among other events young artists will have an occasion to compete in the Golden Boat Competition. Young singers,
dance and instrumental groups and solists, as well as young painters and photographers are the winners of Gold, Silver and Bronze Boats.

The second edition of the festival was a six-day interdisciplinary cultural event, supporting the intercultural dialogue and artistic development of young people from around the world.
